Hello, my name is Adrian and I’ve been making records for most of my life.

As the son of a producer and songwriter, I’ve been around studios since before I can remember and am definitely at home in the environment; something I hope rubs off on the people I work with.

I enjoy records that don’t sound like anything else. I enjoy finding sounds that are nearly impossible to replicate

I enjoy making records that sound huge. I enjoy being an anti-purist.

I enjoy creative distortion and modular synthesizers. I enjoy odd amps and speakers that shouldn’t work.

I enjoy tape machines and committing in the moment.

I enjoy finding brilliance in the accident rather than injustice in the imperfection.

I enjoy mixing records. I enjoy the challenge of mobile recording.

I enjoy producing records that sound like a dream.

I own a studio in Richmond, VA called Montrose Recording and have made many records there.

I’ve recently moved to Los Angeles to enjoy the sunshine and make some music on the west coast.
